The deck couldn't have been anymore stacked against Usyk. He travelled into the lion's den of AJ's backyard and whooped the ass of the way way bigger, heavier, stronger and more powerful man in front of 65,000 + vociferous and rowdy AJ fans.

And even more impressive AJ is fast for a man of his gargantuan dimensions and therefore is a much more dangerous proposition for much smaller guys who've come up because he's fast enough to catch them. If he was one of these big slower behemoths it would've been so much easier and less risky for Usyk. But AJ's insufferable fanboys just parrot his BS and act like AJ is the one who had it all against him and he was the one who was taking all the risks.

What’s particularly annoying about the Joshua casuals is that lots of them are primarily football fans. This has led to the weird phenomenon of people ‘supporting’ a promotion - hence Matchroom FC.

A career defined by rhetoric. Remember he was still 'green' according to some, 20+ fights into his career? Because that was the narrative being pushed by Hearn and the 'stay humble' mantra. Then it was the cloak of sweet science, yeah the box-and-move 'masterclass' against a fat blob bound to the Earth's surface by a unique, more powerful force of gravity it seemed.

And how'd he execute that transformation? By summoning up his inner 70s fighter, apparently. How did we know this? He grew out his hair.

Now he's gonna be the reincarnation of Iron Mike, and name-checks gangsters in a weird, contrived and highly-rehearsed monologue to show he means business. And sacks the trainer who nurtured him to be a front foot wrecking ball before Wlad's right hand implanted self-doubt that's never been remedied.

And all this vacillation framed by ring walks embellished by a robe worn in a self-flattering reference to Ali. Everything about him is a facsimile of something or somebody else, transmitted by sound bites for fans to repeat on Reddit - twice a year when they watch his fights.

'Stay Humble!'... 'Sweet Science'... 'Lynx body spray' (£2.99 with offer code #andthenew)

He's very hard to like. I have tried...

I’ve never warmed to him. Highly media trained yet still comes across as genuinely uncharismatic and a bit odd.

Conversely I actually quite like Hearn because at least he’s pretty authentic and a good talker.

I appreciate he’s a massive hypocrite and rather annoying - but it baffles me how people can prefer Joshua over Fury as a person.

Well said. I actually liked him at first and have defended him many times. But ultimately, whilst a very good fighter, he's a media trained charismaless and dull phony and we can now add liar into the mix too.

I'm not saying Usyk's footwork played no work. I agree Joshua struggled to land much clean, I 100% agree.

    I wasn't denying that happened.

What i'm saying is that there WAS times were Joshua did land on him, but didn't put much power behind the shots.

What I'm saying is imagine the same straight right hands that landed on Usyk in the first fight but landed with 100% power?

I agree Joshua will struggle to land clear vs Usyk due to Usyk being a master at movement, but the reality is Joshua DID land cleanly on Usyk last fight, and if Joshua wins this fight, it will be Via KO and Joshua may only have to land a few punches to win it.

If Joshua is going to try to do what he claims, he's gonna try to bumrush Usyk. This means he's gonna gas bad in the second half and get stopped. Unfortunately this is his best chance, it just won't work

Usyk won’t win the rematch but he will get knocked out or beaten up bad.

A shower of rockets will fall on Joshuas head on August.

Usyk has Joshuas number..this time he closes the case within 5 rounds. He might do it even in the first match, but the strategy was another.

Surprising Soccer fans would like anything that has physical contact, let alone actual violence. But then again most are tougher than the actual players, thus the brawls and riots.
