Do you remember how boring and excruciating to watch their first fight was? I honestly found more excitement watching paint dry and grass grow than watching them fight. There were more clinches than punches landed.

Please for the love of boxing do not let this rematch happen.

It wasn't boring if you knew what to look for. It was a game of chess, and was highly entertaining, at least to me. Sure, I like brutal KOs or one-sided thrashings as much as the next guy, but not with top world level fighters or better, just in the case of hypejob prima donnas who need to be taken down a notch or ten.

It wasn't excruciating if you were looking at what Calzaghe was doing. If you were looking at BHop.. it was a tad boring.

I appreciate the subtle nuances of boxing as much as anyone, but Hopkins/Calzaghe was plain ol' boring. You want an entertaining game of chess? How about fights like Pernell Whitaker against Buddy McGirt or even Hopkins against Wright where punches were actually thrown and landed?

Just my 2 pennies...I'm not saying it was one of the best fights of the year...but it was at least fascinating, if not exciting.
