It was a knock down, the man was perfectly fine. Fight did not continue because of his torn knee. Dont get too excited there.

Both of his legs were unsteady and locking out. True boxing fans should be able to see simple signs of a fighter being hurt from punches. There's a difference. Solis' OTHER leg was locking out and buckling... that doesn't happen when you injure the knee on the opposite side. Solis hurt his knee because he went down with no control of himself... due to being hurt bad.

Please read my post again. I acknowledged it was a knockdown, i understand he was hurt from the temple shot, BUT BY NO MEANS WOULD THAT SHOT ENDED THE FIGHT. Solis went to get right back up, despite his torn knee. Plus, the round was almost over and would have had that time to clear his head from a flash knockdown.

The knee tears as result from ALL OF THE FORCE of V's punch knocking him backward. He was the best Cuba have to offer. Jealousies? I hear them?[/quote]

Solis is the best HEAVYWEIGHT THAT DEFECTED from Cuba, by no means the best Cuba has to offer. Wish pro boxing was allowed for the talents of Cuba could show their skill.

You can't be saved by the bell. Solis couldn't regain his balance in order to continue. I am not talking about the injury to his knee either. Sorry, but I have had similar injuries in wrestling and it certainly doesn't make your legs do what Solis' legs are doing after he gets up from this knockdown. You can clearly see that he simply don't have his equilibrium from that shot to the temple. Both legs are completely unstable, locking, and buckling. That doesn't coincide with that injury.

Blowing out his right knee isn't going to make his left leg do that. It doesn't even make sense.

How the hell are you going to say that is a fight ending shot? Did you start watching boxing yesterday or are you blind? Solis would have surviced the 2 Seconds left in the round im sure. Winning the fight is another thing but that punch did not end the fight, his knee did. I am not saying he was not hurt, he clearly was, but not enough to the point where he could not continue.
