He was just involved in the FOTY with a big, strong, puncher in diaconu.
He manhandled at times and outfought a bigger guy who's very dangerous
and undefeated. Pascal is also the new WBC lightheavyweight champ right
after a loss with your very own Carl "the cobra" Froch.

It rose in that Pascal is performing well, but I wouldn't go overboard. It's not as if he beat Chad Dawson, he beat somebody that won a vacant title and was as untested as Pascal was when he fought Froch.

Agree but it sounds like you're overlooking the Taylor W

Was going to say djoc it does nothing really after the Taylor win. Diacanu is good but its like saying Haye stock will rise if Mormeck beats Cunningham

    Yes...

Pascal has been performing well since the loss.

But let's be honest, Diaconu hasn't done a lot except beat Rico Hoye who ain't that good, and struggled with Chris Henry. He's a good fighter but he's not proven greatly.

Froch beat Taylor, I mean that overshadows Jean Pascal beating somebody..really.

I see where the guys coming from though.

It helps in that Pascal is making something of himself, he's not living off the plaudits he got for fighting Froch. Because a guy could easily turn round and say Pascal had never done nothing before he fought Froch. He's becoming something, a good fighter that is proving himself. He needs to do more, but its a start.

Not sure who he could fight next though. Ain't a lot around in the LHW's.

It certainly does Froch no harm. You could say he has another world champ on his slate to add to Taylor and Reid.

It definitely looks favourable on Froch, people might have said, who was Pascal he'd never done anything.

Glad Pascal won this one, was really impressed with him in the Froch fight, might try and pick up a copy of this fight.

  13. Yes it has because, most of the peeps who don't like Froch (Usually Joe C fans) said that Pascal was a nobody and nowhere near World Class, but know they cannot say that

  14. And another thing is that Froch actually beat a future belt holder, where Joe usually beat up on EX belt holders

    absolutely.

and also, Calzaghe said that "Froch beat a bum" in Pascal, which clearly wasn't the case then, and definitely isn't the case now.

it has become clear that Froch beat a world class warrior, in Jean Pascal.

Also, ppl are overlooking that Pascal went 12 hard rounds, won a big event 13,000+ fans. I bet Dawson will be calling out Pascal, just so "Bad Chad" doesn't have to fight in half empty arenas where they give away tickets.
