Well Duran does strike me as someone who wouldn't mind fighting dirty like hitting you over the head with a bottle while you weren't looking. While Ali seemed to be one who'd be more fair minded. So in that sense, Duran could pull some dirty **** that gives him the upper hand.

    Hasim Rahman was damn strong.
Maybe the strongest world class heavyweight?

Big frame plus some serious weight lifting. Manhandled Lewis easily in ESPN studio, probably would have kicked his ass in a street fight.

Eddie hall would kill this guy in the street... He only should catch him and it is all over, if eddie puts his 180kg on this guy in the floor he will be lost and would take a beating. Boxing rules are different i know guys who were bums in a boxing gym but in the grapling jiu jitsu and wrestling are beasts. A street fight is not a boxing match

This is what is wrong with everything.

Being A strong guy means **** if he can’t fight.

If a guy can fight he can still fight. If that’s all he can do is fight, he still can at least fight.

If a guy is only strong, All he can be is only strong.

Now if a guy is strong and he can fight well that is something. That is a big deal.

But don’t go giving me any crap about a strong guy being able to fight on The street if all he can do is be strong. That’s nothing. In itself it is is nothing. It might help somebody open a jar of sauce though. But fighting? Forget it.

You can make any guy who can fight be stronger but you can’t make every strong guy into a fighter. Only some.

Being strong isn’t anything unless you can also fight.

Biggest bulshi7 ever. You have no clue what you are talking about...he is not another strong guy in the bunch ,another idiot of gym, A strongman got a huge thick frame and a huge mass of muscle plus a % of fat..for these monsters a big man a 220 pounder is small and fragile like a child so he will not respect your power at all.. He just will walk and destroy you with his naked hands.. His levels of testosterone are so high and is built like a rhino... You can fight like bruce lee or royce gracie.. If this man catches you then you are died simple like that.. The skill is important but if you can't use it correctly because your rival is too huge and too strong you are lost

No that is a nonsense. The guy needs to be able to fight.

Two guys who can’t fight but one is stronger? The stronger non fighter will have the edge. Sure.

But a strong guy who can’t fight is toast if he can’t fight. That is the serious truth. No way a guy who can’t fight beats an expert. It’s not happening.

This is the mistake these bozos make. They build themselves up and get kerb stomped by little guys Who can fight. It’s not enough. You need to be able to fight.

What do you make of the fact that Royce Gracie was able to dominate much bigger fighters in the early no-holds-barred UFC matches? I think Gracie would find away to submit him or choke him out.

What about Jose Manual Urtain, he was briefly a contender back in the late 1960's. He was supposedly freakishly strong. Dictator Francisco Franco was supposedly a big fan of his.

For sure. But you're talking about guys who are skilled in other combat arts.

True, but I don't think Duran was meaning fighting fair. He probably would have picked up a bottle, stick, kicked Ali in the testicles, gouged his eyes, bit him, etc.

The problem is that you are confusing "any strong guy" with a strongman like eddie hall. Like i said... Is pretty evident that you have no clue about it... I do boxing and i train weights with athletes of strength like strongmen and powerlifters and i can tell you that these guys do not need to learn any combat sport to destroy you

Also Franco Columbo, 2 Mr Olympia, Mr Universe, Mr Europe. Was the amateur featherweight champion on Italy, before he got into bodybuiding. Back in the 70's he was p4p one of the strongest men in the world. At the 1977 WSm contest he only weighed 185 lbs and competed with Bruce Wilhelm, Ken Patera, Lou Ferrigno, all who outweighed him by about 100 lbs or more.

Yea I also think these elite strongman athletes could destroy some heavyweight boxers in a street fight, especially if they have any basic grappling skills.
Size and strength difference is huge, they could literally crush you if they get their hands on you in the clinch.
