I'd like to see Forbes pull off the upset, but I don't see it happening. Like someone said he couldn't even beat Grady Brewer who was basically a journeyman and even though Oscar may be past his prime, he is still not on a journeyman's level. I think Oscar takes this by wide UD.
What was then? That he should expect Oscar to fight like he did as a fat underprepared middleweight and base his strategy off that? Bad call.
No, that he shouldn't 'see himself winning' the fight, because even if he does win it the judges ain't going to give it to him.
I see. Well that is a valid point, but the way you put it was a bit of a stretch. And that's coming from ESB's master of the esoteric. :yep
Oscar will prolly knock him down early but wont finish Forbes, and will try to get a workout for a couple rounds in order to prepare DLH for Floyd. My above statement might sound harsh to Forbes, and honestly i like Forbes, but lets be serious, we all know what this is, a tune-up. Forbes cant and wont beat, even an old DLH. And oh btw... A legend fights real fighters, props to DLH, even if you hate on him, he wants to fight the best in Mayweather and Cotto and they are clearly the best fighters from 135 through 154 (right in DLH's neighborhood). Mayweather and Cotto should learn something from DLH, cause he is a true professional.
I wouldn't necessarily say he's confident strictly from that Scar. I mean what do you expect him to say. He is even using the "this is gonna be a mental fight..." logic for winning :deal And that fighting bigger guys on the contender has gotten him ready atsch :rofl :rofl :rofl
