    I agree Gomez losing by KO was a foregone conclusion but at least Cotto is fighting Margarito next.:thumbsup

    But not Cotto's relentless, aggressive style(and imo, the talent level now), which makes all the difference. Oscar is not a walk-you-down type of fighter naturally. And prime Gatti struggled with journeyman fighters, and was never proven at Welterweight. He got annihilated by Oscar as you said, who spent the fight experimenting(badly), with the shoulder roll, instead of seriously going after Gatti. Gomez would beat that Gatti(if you define that as his prime) in a competitive fight, imo.
