From what I've heard he was pretty bad and his timing among other things were completely off. I suppose you'd expect that to a degree considering the lay off. But with his age now and the amount of time it would take to get him back into decent form, he's just no going to be a threat to anyone. I'd be surprised if Simon even makes it to the point of getting a big fight out of his comeback.
Good post, currently you wouldnt give him **** all against either, most wouldnt. I presumed you may see a lil more into it. Not a dig etc by any means, i asked and you have replied with all you know and i appreciate. I do see him taking out a Pavlik long before an Abraham. Btw, dont disrespect monkeys. Appreciate your words on this btw, more so..........who wins.......no ****ing idea !!!! Am there too, though i know who i wanna win Cheers :good
A bad fight or few rounds cant be judged. If he was 21, there would be another fault finder ala prison, as he has endured to some extent. I aint overly supporting him, sure my posts may seem like that and i cant argue if people see this. I just remember a sharp shooter and would like to see them again and yes i remember and know what they have done. You are right regarding even getting a big fight, i am of that ilk as well, i am. He is or was special, i think in how he is calling out the current Brit Super Middles to some extent isnt helping him. He wants a deal with what he knows is the best non yank and that IS Warren. I juat wonder if he signed with Warren , how quick he would be back.
Why the hell did he stop fighting anyway at the start of what looked a promising career? He's not a fighter I have much of a clue about.
He didnt stop, he killed a few ppl, if you mean Simon 3 were proven.......deaths that is. 2 again, seemingly not proven. He was drunk regarding the first 3. The other 2, i dont know. Naturally people say it was drink as thats what he was done for previously, regardless that he was 1/4 of a can over, its no excuse when you get caught. He is living with it thank ****, not me. I dont condone or excuse.
Drink driving, is that what you are saying? Where was this, and where did he go to prison? What was his sentance? What about Ike Ikeabuchi (when he gets parole) against Klitschko's?
Seriously, what were you trying to achieve by posting this thread? Obviously all the greats from the UK should stay here as well then. Maybe the future of boxing is just domestic titles:nut.
i don't know, maybe he is right, feeding our olympic 'heros' with these unbeaten easteuro fighters,i mean come on,thet fellow who jeffries fought last night, utter ****,he was more like a **** amature than a pro, these lads were top amatures, world class amatures, not ****ing 20 fight novice amatures, who these euro fellows should be fighting. if these olympic heros were that good(or thought)they would get better oposition. in fact the dickinson brothers had far more harder fights last night than any of our olympic heros have had up to now,and they wernt world class am's
