Anyone remember that **** Jeff Thomas born in Holland who we let have his whole career over here. Heard he was a total wanker, dunno why we let them in to be honest.

Yes he's a right ****, but thats not the point i'm making.

When I say foreign opposition I'm not talking about Glenn Johnson, Yuri Romanov *, Lazlo Bognar, Andreas Galfi, Yuri Epifantsev, Emanual Burton etc etc....

I'm talking about the shocking opposition some of the young brits are fighting. That chap in the ring last night with Tony jeffries was AWFUL- ****ing shite. As was most of the chaps the other olympians have fought thus far.

As Widdy said the two brothers were given much better fights by much more capable fighters who hailed from, or had form within the British isles.

There is no sense whatsoever in bringing ******ed armenians who only have been boxing for six months to come and fight olympians. Its not doing anyone any good. All its doing is conning the general public while wasting space on my Skyplus hard drive.

A perfect example of how this shitty matchmaking can go wrong is the capable kid they put in with sutherland last week. Good fighter, looked like he'd done a bit. He wasn't awfully far from scoring an upset. What would sutherland have done then? He would have lost to a nobody. They have a rematch, he beats a nobody. Nothing gained.

Use UK journeyman if your going to use any. Reasons?

-Form, we can compare there performance to that of their domestic opposition.

-Quality Assured, these fighters can mostly fight to a decent standard because if they can't the board **** them off.

-Finance, with the economy the way it is i'm pretty sure Ernie Smith and co could do with the pay not some foreigner.

And for those calling me a racist... seriously have a word with yourselves. Its got nothing to do with race as shown above. :good

    ;)

I know what you mean about these guys, another thing is they seem to go home, rack up some dodgy wins and get decent looking records. Like that guy who Tyson Fury fought and was something like 21-3 and in reality they are just fighting average guys. Do Brits ask for more money because I can't imagine it's cheap for these fellas to come over from Eastern Europe.

I'd pretty much gurantee they are on far less then British fighters. They have no idea what they're up against. An educated guess.... I bet Jeffries opponent cleared 1,500 last night.... could be wrong.... A brit journeyman would cost in the region of 3-4,000 for that fight I reckon.

Jeffries learns absolutley nothing from that kind of farce. I'd be ashamed to give an interview after something like that. Sky need to put a stop to it. It's like when we were discussing Tyson Fury opposition and people were saying he should have a "couple more fights" before he faces someone like McCall or Williams. Why? What could he possibly learn with two more total farces that would make him better prepared for McCall or Williams?

Exactly, whats more embarassing is the fact that these foreign 'boxers' wouldn't even be invited over for sparring. Its becoming increasingly frequent. No wonder UFC is gaining popularity when compared to this nonsense.

UFC 100 tonight and don't we know it. Wonder if they've had any problems with their posters?

So because you have khan as your avater, you can't be racist.get a grip of yourself.your point is pish, and boxing in this country wouldent flourish without "forieners"only a short sided post could come from a khan fan, just stick to your poster boy and leaven the boxing to the real boxing supporters
