To hear some people tell it, 90s Foreman would knockout Tyson and Wlad. Surely Valuev won't be a problem?

Really it would be an ugly lethargic affair; ending in a disputed decision with someone crying foul.

Foreman would probably lose a decision. Foreman was too slow and ponderous. He looked like a punching bag against Holyfield. AGainst bums, who were normally small and underpowered, Foreman could look overwhelming. But against a big, strong, decent fighter, Foreman would struggle. And Valuev's massive height and reach advantages would make scoring against Foreman easy.

Usually I don't pick An old foreman over all time greats.. maybe Sugar Nikolai Valuev is the exception. I just think that the old foreman will find valuev and valuev will be too easy to hit. way too east. of course valuev will be getting his punches in, but he can't really hurt foreman, can he? it took the best of them to hurt him, ala cooney, Lyle... I even think holyfield hurt him on occasion.
but valuev is a terriblly weak puncher for his size. foreman can take it, easy.
i just think valuev will take too much punishment Dom foreman... he'd be a big punching bag for foreman.

Foreman wins the fight. I agree that NV would be a tough task for him but if we are using the Foreman of the Holyfield fight then I think he still has enough left here 2 get the win. I see him winning on points.

Suzie the fighters you mentioned: Alex Stewart, Tommy Morrison. Axel Shulz, Crawford Grimsley, Shannon Briggs, Lou Saverese

Though many may have not been ranked in the top 10 (not sure I would have to pull out the VHS) some could fight a little.

    1. Alex Stewart was a good fighter who was a real slow starter(which cost him againt Tyson) and a bleeder (which cost him againt Holyfield and Moorer) but once he got going he was solid. He gave Holyfield a hell of a fight in there first encounter and he had Moorer out in round 2. I still feel he should have got the nod against Foreman. He was 24-0 with 24 ko's going into the Holyfield fight.

    2. Morrison was ranked.

    3. Grimsley I will give you this though he was unbeaten he was a nobody, ask Jimmy Thunder lol.

    4. Savarese was 36-0 but also nothing I never believed in Lou..

    5. Schulz was also a soft touch.

    6. Bert Cooper was a solid heavyweight at times, Foreman ran into the one that was not!!

    7. Adilson Rodrigues was good on the offense, but Holy and George both showed you what his chin was like..

Ok Suzie so running down your list most were pretty soft, either way I still take him over NV.
