i'd favour foremans opinion over anyone on here. foremans one of the greatest p4p IMO.....!!!! long live king george!!!
Neither Bernard nor Joe have beaten a legit ATG of their own weight. Maybe that's because there haven't been many at either weight during their tenures. (Roy comes to mind and he was in a league of his own in both divisions.) Both BHop and Calzaghe dominated their respective divisions for about a decade and twenty defences. They're both ATGs in my book. Which ATGs did Holmes defeat in his 20 defence streak? Holmes is an ATG.
Undefeated Lacy, Kessler, a Reid who was robbed against Ottke. A Eubank who went on to have two great fights at Cruiserweight against Carl Thompson who beat David Haye the curreny WBA/WBC champ. Calzaghe beat Chris Byrd as an amateur!atsch
Holmes beat Norton, an ATG at heavyweight, to win the strap. He also beat Earnie Shavers who ranks fairly highly, maybe an ATG depending on how many you want to pick per division, and he also beat Ali. A shot Ali, yes, but he is an ATG. Spinks has got to be an ATG at heavyweight so him too. What goes against Hopkins is the fact he didn't beat an ATG, but on top of that, lost to the two best fighters he fought. Taylor and Jones. If, for eample, you took the names I listed about Holmes away, and put in losses to Weaver and, say, Witherspoon, would I consider him and ATG? No.
Against a total bum that should never have been in the ring with him, and a guy he'd already KO'd in 1 round.
really? he's unified the division and holds the ring belt, what more does he need to do to be the champ at 168? i thought you said he was a fraud? it's not the greatest but you are letting your ignorance get the better of you when you describe it as '****'. your nasty little prejudice creeping out again :good
Not all Brit boxing fans have fallen for the Calzaghe/Warren bull**** I'll have you know  I don't dislike Calzaghe as a person, or even as a fighter - he's always entertaining at least, but I dislike his promoter intensely. If Calzaghe had any real ambition he'd have done what Hatton did and dropped Warren years ago.
Greatest ever at 168. Beat the best yankees that would fight him. Was ducked by the 2 "superstar" yankees typically.
Yes he's so good that Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins were scared to fight him. Which explains Calzaghe doing the Italian retreat when the fearsome Glen Johnson appeared on the horizon :nut :nut :nut :nut
I'm a moron for believing you meant something you wrote :huh If you don't mean something why post it? ****ing attention *****. Edit Yes you're right I see it now, I am a moron for taking anything you write seriously. But you're still an attention whoring fruit.
