I wouldn't say he "copied" Walcott. Foreman always had a powerful uppercut with either hand. It would be interesting to know though whether he watched Walcott, the oldest heavyweight champion until then, while making his successful comeback. Their mannerisms are somewhat similar when throwing that left hand, almost non-chalantly. It was a sneaky punch and worked well for Foreman during his comeback.

Neither uppercut was telegraphed but that's Ar Enry.

Foreman's is hilarious though, like he was just trying to itch his own nose and the other dude's chin just happened to be in the way. I wander how many times he accidently knocked out family members, reaching for stuff.

Those punches are the opposite of "telegraphed". The opponents never saw them coming. A telegraphed punch wouldn't have knocked out Ezzard Charles.

  11. exactly
it was so , telegraphed ,they did not expect it .
    dumbass

I would expect that a poster named after Sir Henry Cooper would know his English (and have some class) but I guess not. Read up on the meaning of the word and perhaps you'll realize that you are mistaken, making you the true "dumbass".

  13. they did bring up 1 uppercut from the waist or a little above waist
    2 get full leverage .
ik wat telegraphed means . they have been fighting ,
technically sound fighters @ 1 time like foreman n walcott ,
they did not expect it .
    but it was still telegraphed,
it is clear like 1 day and 1 night .
    1 sun n 1 moon .:deal

TGA he is saying the punch was overemphasized hence that neither man expected it. Odd bit of logic but I can half understand where he is coming from but I disagree.

Walcott to me if anything was feinting a right hand and threw a left uppercut.
