I think he beats everyone except Vitali, who survives the first official knockdown of his career and cones back to stop Foreman late. Chris Byrd may also give Foreman some trouble.
Sanders weighed 225 for the Wlad fight and was just 1 inch taller than Foreman. So what if Brewster was 10-15 lbs heavier than Foreman? Does that make him physically stronger? No. Not even remotely. Foreman is better than Brewster in a million ways. Lyle was a slugger who gave a rusty Foreman a good fight. Not because he was phsyically strong. If Wlad tries slugging with Foreman, he would get knocked out. The referee would not need to step in. Wladamir lost to guys Foreman's size. Sanders and Brewster were not any bigger than Foreman was. And Foreman does not need to rough Wlad up. Foreman just needs to land. Wladamir's size provides a giant target. Wladamir's size is a MASSIVE disadvantage against a puncher like Foreman. As i have said, both Lewis and Wlad struggled more against smaller heavies than bigger ones.
I disagree with the description of Sanders and Brewster as "not big" in this topic, given they would be giants in young Foreman's era. Foreman himself was a giant in his era. As to your point, Sanders was faster than Wlad. Foreman was not. And I dont think anyone would want to replicate Brewster's strategy, of taking career threatening punishment in hopes Wlad might tire, which didn't seem to be a certainty as it only happened twice. I disagree that Foreman's struggle with Lyle was rust related to rust or "slugging." Foreman as against Ali, had no answer for straight accurate rights from reachy opponents. So against the K Bros, this could get ugly. Foreman isn't gonna land unless he can bully, he's the smaller man here, he has to pressure Wlad and walk through fire without burning out. Brewster physically was a power house with superior stamina, keeping his power late after grueling beatings and wrestling with heavier men. Foreman had a questionable gas tank. So here is what Foreman is looking at. Fighters with faster feet, longer arms, busy troubling left hands and powerful accurate rights he struggled to defend against, and if he cuts the ring off, two men likely physically stronger and 30 lbs heavier are waiting to throw their muscle on him. Maybe Wlad will get tired, maybe Vitali will get cut if you keep eating leather and coming forward...maybe..
yes foreman had nothing to worry about with fury its a brutal 2-3 round knockout or he tears his face to shreds. And if this version of Foreman ever incorporated the old foremans cross armed defence and limitless stamina i could see him reigning to the present day (from a 2000 pro career debut)
Wlad has absolutely NO chance in beating prime Foreman. Wlad was freaked the **** out by Sanders' fast start, Brewster getting up off the floor, neanderthal Peter walking through his shots and anybody with half a lick of power getting closer than a meter to him. Foreman was a fast starter, one of the most intimidating HWs ever, had about seven times the skill of Peter and the talent, as well as the heart to get off the floor if Wlad somehow threw something with power. Wlad gets stopped in two, three at the latest.
Foreman used to cut weight and his target weight was quite ambitious. It's strange that you're even trying to force the issue of a size difference between Foreman and Sanders. They're roughly the same stamp and it's not difficult to fairly come to that conclusion.
I think most, if not all of the Heavies of those days did. It's an era, in which getting in shape and maintaining an optimal fighting weight was seen as a good thing.
Foreman's success in the 1970s was predicated on physical advantages that he wouldn't have in 2004 and beyond. He was 6'3' 220-225. For comparison, Povetkin was 6'2, 230 at his juiced best. Vitali would pick him apart with size (6'7, 250) and boxing IQ. Wlad hit his stride in 2006 and would demolish Foreman from this point on. Wlad was shaky in 2004 and 2005 and Foreman would definitely have a chance to survive a beating and take Wlad out later. Sanders was the out of shape guy who lost to Vitali in 2004. He'd give Foreman hell but ultimately gas out. 2003 would be a lot more interesting. Brewster would probably get his ass kicked but would have a chance at a surviving and taking Foreman out. Povetkin was better schooled than Foreman and close in size. It would be a close fight. I'll end it there. He would be one of the better tier 2 fighters.
Ali absorbed exceedingly powerful body shots from Foreman in exchange for protecting his head. Do you really think Wlad or Vitali could endure those kind of body shots? Absolutely not. Ali took a body shot better than any heavyweight that ever lived. Wlad and Vitali would be in agony if they had to endure those body shots. As far as straight accurate rights, Foreman had no answer for Ali's straight lead right hand. Ali's lead right was thrown with astonishing speed and accuracy. And Ali did it without being countered. Do you really think Wlad had the guts to keep throwing fast lead rights like Ali without being countered in return? Ali had the confidence in his chin and reflexes to do it. Wlad couldn't and wouldn't throw those lead rights. Sanders may have had faster hands than Foreman but Sanders was an older fighter. Foreman cuts the ring better than Sanders, is far more durable, and overall a more powerful fighter. And i disagree with Foreman not being able to land. Wlad is an enormous target. Foreman has an 80 inch reach. There is no question that Wlad's enormous size will allow Foreman to land. I think with Wlad, it depends on how much excess clinching the referee allows him to get away with. Its certainly possible that he could hug his way to a decision. But he is too cautious a fighter to take it to Foreman.
He bodies both K brothers, he ends povetkins career before it ever gets started, and his farewell fight against Fury, who is nothing more than a bald headed punching bag for Big George, who KOs Fury in style and sends him back to therapy.
The Kbros wouldn't ****ing rope a dope Foreman. They'd expose him as being amateurish at range and then clinch whenever he got close.
