The foreman that went to war with Alex stewart v razor who battled morrison. Foreman knocking down Alex in the early rounds looked set for another ko but stewart rose to give big george one of the toughest fights of his career. George won by majority Dec but his face was battered to a pulp like never before! He's fighting the ruddock who engaged in the war with morrison with both men down before the ref stopped it in favour of Tommy. George would go on to win the title again, ruddock would never trouble a top ten heavyweight again. Both vulnerable in this match who wins,??

Morrison in the Ruddock fight was well past his prime.

Few years earlier Morrison outboxed the Foreman in what was the best performance of Morrison's career.

The fight was close, far closer than the cards. Morrison from Ruddock fight gets brutally KO'd by that Foreman.

As for Ruddock, who also was clearly past his best and inactive, he could give Foreman tough fight for few rounds, but then Big George batters him and stops him late.

I agree , think razor would be throwing some mean stuff at foreman and can see him been rocked, but think around the fourth George sends razor crashing with a left followed by a face splitting right. Big George ko 4

50-50. I don't really think Foreman deserved a win against Stewart. Razor by that point was still better than Stewart by a good margin.

I think this would likely resemble the Cooney bout, you don't fight fire with fire against Foreman unless you have ATG abilities. Ruddock didn't have those I'm afraid....

Some felt Stewart won that fight and there were calls for Foreman to retire.

Ruddock was 31 for the Morrison fight, not too old. I think he would batter Foreman from the Stewart fight.

I just feel that ruddock always seemed to lose the big ones. Not taking anything away from razor, I used to love watching him. I think he fitted right in with the 90 s heavyweight s. If he'd been hitting his peak early 80 s he would probably picked up a belt, though not holmes s. I think at the point I picked for razor was when he was on the slide and foreman was still marching on towards a title so I think it would have been tough few rounds for George, then similar to cooney fight where George breaks through and ko s ruddock.

I think Ruddock by a very close decision.Morrison beat Foreman and Ruddock also but Ruddock was
stronger, tougher than Stewart who could hurt the old Foreman .But much more important Foreman never was impressive against decent tall strong fighters who could punch (Lyle,Savarese,Briggs,Stewart fights ) and the Morrison version Ruddock proved decent power.

Ruddock dropping his left had to throw his "smash" might be a big mistake against Foreman.

ruddock was only 31 in the morrison fite .....but inactivity 10 rds in 30 months and the 2 wars with tyson makes ruddock a very old 31 yr old my friend / look at david reid he was young also but within 3 fights or so he was shot to pieces

Ruddock post 1991 had a very low boxing IQ

Gone was the jab ,patience and movement of the 1980s.....he became a one armed fighter with those flamboyant variety of fast ferocious left hooks and uppercut.....his chin had degraded considerably after the tyson brutalisations...

1989-91 Ruddock could beat foreman on points...the other versions get kayoed in 2-4 rounds where Ruddock would make it a wild brawl

There's a good reason why Foreman never fought Ruddock...
