Most powerful puncher in boxing history. Only fighter I’ve watched live whose power frightened me. Can’t imagine being hit full bore with that right hand.
I've seen this a million times if I've seen it once. Every time I still think "Ouch". It's more than any brute power. That is how you sit down on our punches and create leverage. The downside is that you may get caught flatfooted on defense.... but you will get the most of your God-given power.
That s### could kill a man. Never get tired of watching that He looks like hes a 260 lb defensive end. Still cant believe hes around 215-220 just an incredible physical specimen
The guy was scary. His KO of Norton George was like a freight train. Obliterated Norton like to was nothing. He went into that fight wanting to actually kill Norton if you believe Foreman’s words.
I can believe it; if you watch films of the fight, Foreman went over to Norton's corner after the KO and was glaring at him like "Don't even THINK about getting in the ring with me again!" None of this, "Nice fight, fella!" - George was all about intimidation and mean. Hard to reconcile that with the Mr Stay Puft version of the 90s ...
I remember some individual on here stating that Rocky would have walked straight through Foremans shots to land his own........I simply smiled.
I really couldn't think of a worse match up for Marciano than foreman, I love Marciano but some of the people on this forum that think he could beat anyone almost made me sour on him, he was the greatest fighter in his era, that doesn't make him unbeatable.
