Did Holyfield say Foreman hit him harder than anyone ever?

I’ve said it a bunch of times (last time I’ll write it up for you) Foreman hit him with the hardest single shot (yes JT) but to quote Evander Holyfield “I’m not sure whether he’s a harder puncher then Mike Tyson” (yes JT) I don’t know why this is such a fixation for you? I’ve said that GF and Lennox likely hit about the same (this is about Mercers chin so it’s important for the thread fight) or if your Messiah hit harder it probably isn’t by much? Tucker said Lewis > Tyson and Holyfield is uncertain that Foreman hit harder than Tyson it can’t be any clearer - There is so little difference that it matters this much for you?

    Fixation? Stop projecting

Holyfield said Foreman hit him the hardest in multiple interviews. Did Lewis land his hardest shot? It's hard to say. We saw some serious bombs hemmer off Holyfield's noggin tho. Did Tyson hit him with his best? We saw Tyson land some full blown clean punches with either hand. Is it impossible to say Lewis didn't hit as hard? No not at all, but it would be somewhat of a leap of faith.

A big point - did Foreman land his own best shot? There's every chance he didn't, or as much chance as Tyson and Lewis at any rate.

You know just because you insult someone it won’t go away right? - I’m totally cool with you, but you came in here with a catty post directed at me and then seemed surprised I responded? “oh no you’re the one quoting me” now you finish by basically agreeing with my original post that there’s not a lot between Lewis, Tyson and Foreman? lol I just built an argument around what Tucker said and Evander said “I’m not sure he hit harder then Mike Tyson” and Tucker saying Lennox hit him the hardest… what exactly did I say to make you so mad or “spread negativity” JT? You’re a grown man relax mate none of this is real.

You haven't answered my post. Not answering won't make it disappear.

Do you want me to quote endless catty posts and insults from you to others? You're the king of it. You literally had to make an alt to run away from the previous one. It's why a bunch of people rarely interact with you. Projecting won't fool many. It's a bit late to play the victim card.

I really don’t care  it’s not a secret that I had an alt or I’ve been a jerk before it’s common knowledge… there’s nothing emotional and fixated at all like saying you’ll track down every catty thing I’ve said? Very normal behaviour. JT I did answer you bud, really I have and I’m done chatting with you like this about how hard Lennox can or cannot hit, kick rocks.

I doubt that Foreman would be able to take out Mercer early, and of the two, Foreman is the guy that gasses late. Frankly I think Mercer is the one that is more likely to get a late KO. In fact, I think the longer the fight, the more Mercer ought to be favoured.

It would take 5 minutes ;)

Emotional and fixated would be your endless obsession with Foreman and co. It's been called out multiple times by multiple people and was acknowledged again all of a week or so ago. Strange.

    Adios amigo!

I mean a guy like Lennox didn’t dent Mercer Holyfield got him hurt to the body (anyone can be got there, James Toney got Holyfield there ffs) Cooper for all he was, was a helluva puncher and he hit harder then Tyson (according to some) and he didn’t dent Mercer neither did Witherspoon… Morrison famous for only stupid power (in Foreman fashion) kamikaze’d himself on Mercers chin (compare Mercers reactions to Morrisons shots to Foreman’s with Lyle’s who has the questionable chin?) it took a beat down from Wlad “The Great” whilst a shot fighter to finally crack his chin Wlad might be THE puncher of all time IMO… Ray Mercer will be there for 10,12,15 it doesn’t matter and George turns back into a pumpkin by the 5th.

You've got it about pegged. Foreman's body work is going to be the key here. Not many people (not named Ali) can take it bigtime to both body and head. Even in his second career big guys couldn't come at Foreman or stand in front of him all night. Even a proud warrior like Joe Frazier had to completely change his style in an attempt to have some sort of chance against Foreman, right after the Lyle fight for that matter. Mercer not going to keep away and he's not going to outpunch George and his defense is awful leaky. Mercer will wilt from those heavy hands. He's going to tire a lot more than normal in there with a guy that he can't move, too. I have the image almost of a Chuvalo type finish.

To be completely accurate, Cooper did more than dent Mercer, he broke his face so that it swelled up grotesquely. Mercer was such a hard ass that he basically ignored the grievous damage and soldiered on to win the fight anyway. Morrison, whatever his other weaknesses, hit like an earthquake, and even he couldn't put Mercer away despite throwing the kitchen sink at him. Wlad knocked Mercer down and got the TKO but he never 'stopped' Ray, who was prepared to grind on even when he was getting lit up. Mercer is as tough as they come.

To be fair, if the Wlad fight continued, Mercer would've been KTFO.

    Yeah I think so too.

But the point is that Mercer never gave up.

Some guys would rather get turned into a paste than give up and he was one of them. I believe that sheer ****ing will is a factor in being able to absorb damage, and Ray is one of those guys whose natural toughness is amplified by his inner mental toughness.

Yup, I'm here less and less due to college and taking care of three children. With every return from hiatus, more and more has changed. But the one constant that never changes (and likely never will) is Kamikaze (as well as his alts), and CT's weird obsession with Foreman, with them crawling out of the woodworks to hijack any Foreman thread and disparage him. I'm starting to avoid those threads at this point because I'm quite frankly tired of seeing their garbage. Though, I'm considering the ignore function which I've seldom used but is looking more and more necessary to avoid their bizarre Parasocial relationship with the guy, so I can actually enjoy coming here again.
