vitali beats big geroge to a pulp..hell just walk in his straigh lines with his horrible footwork and get pummled with the jab and huge right hands...and in my opinion if vitali had of been around in georges day and they fought not only would have vitali won.big george would never have made a comeback..fact

Thats true but that was older version of Ali ... his rope a dope style was designed especially to beat Foreman. So Beating Foreman requires slickness ... Vitaly is slick enough to frustrate Foreman and has skills to finish him off
if not then he is in trouble.

.... beside that Ali's win over Foreman is probably his career defining win which gives him
status of the best HW in history ... Vitaly is knocking to the top 10-15 door which may
indicate he will not be able to replicate what Ali did.

George is 6'4 and has a 2" reach advantage over Vitali. I'm not sure how Vitali would fare against an ATG whose as big as long as him. That said, Vitali has master ring IQ. I think he'll fight very defensively for a while and let George tire out. George won't be able to win the fight on points, no way. His only chance is getting a KO of some kind. Vitali would knock George out in the late rounds because of his huge conditioning advantage.

In my vision the fight would resemble the first few rounds from Vitaly - Sanders,
the question is how much better conditioning would Foreman have and how that would affect Vitaly.

    Vitaly.

Part of it is because sports move ahead.

The top of the top today is usually better than they used to be - no matter what it looks like from the outside (and Vitaly looks good even from the outside).

by today's standards foreman would have been small. he in the 70's was 6'3 and 220. by comparison Chris byrd was 6'2 and 215. anyone that says foreman would win is on crack

Vitali outboxes him and takes any punishment that may come his way.

What you fail too mention is Foreman's body attack ..He would have chopped Vitali down ..He also had decent head movement for a big guy as well as a solid ring IQ .Im sure Vitali has an excellent ring IQ against smaller tomato cans but against an all time great he'd struggle .Hell an out of shape LL gave him all that he could handle yet he would out box Foreman ? I don't think so . I don't see Vitali with standing too many bombs from Big George .
