I thought Foreman won by a point, but it was all thanks to that 2nd round.

No doubt Stewart was battering him by the end though. If this one had been twelve rounds instead of ten then he's the guy walking away with the win.

this is one of the few fights that ive watched live ever that i thought a ring fatality was coming...hopkins gave joppy a terrible prolonged beating...i was thinking no way in hell joppy's head swelling up like that is doing him any good:bart

but foreman did get the **** beaten out of him..hell i remember alex hitting him with like 5 straight right hands staggering him every blow landed

Joppys head was grotesque. you hear people say things like "his head looked like an overripe pumpkin" but this was the first time (barring foreman of course) that I actually thought someones head looked like it noticeably swelled, the whole friggin head.

Not a beating but that thing on Rahman's head from Holyfields headbutt was pretty ****ing amazing too. That thing looking like a science experiment.

Its funny how everytime Foreman lost or had a difficult fight he was having an off night. Meanwhile Bob Arum was working frantically behind the scenes to buy judges, and sanctioning bodies (and even Michael Moorer IMO) to keep the Foreman cash cow working overtime.

Well, as far as this fight, Foreman has no excuse for not putting Stewart away when
    he had the chance.

I looked this thread up because a clip of this fight popped up in my YouTube feed. Haven't watched it since it took place. I really liked George & this fight was terrifying to me. He looked awful! I remember him standing in his corner trying to laugh it off "ho ho ho" but they could be stopped this fight.

Foreman clearly blew this fight off. I remember him looking in terrible shape. He was always far but you could see the muscle. Here, he just looked flabby. He always showed stamina in his comeback. He was exhausted after a few rounds here. He also walked in with his hands down not respecting Stewart's power. Just a terrible fight.
