Remember, too, that Holyfield was only a heavy up to a year at the time he fought Dokes. At best, Michael might stun George a couple of times, he didn't have the power of a Cooney, or even Witherspoon. His weight gain would hurt him, and George would send him back to drug addiction with one solid placed shot.
thats a nice ******* thing to say yes holyfield was only a heavy for a year and that time foreman was busy fight 5'6 quawi
Dokes was a big guy. I met him when I lived in California. There were fights at a place called the Irvine Marriott, and he was in the corner. And I thought he is big. And he was faster. Remember that first Weaver fight. He came out smoking. I think I give George the edge, but stylewise this is not an easy fight for George. It is pickem to me if he fights the 1982 or 1983 Dokes.
Not to insult the guy, but there is no way Dokes, this version, would've beaten Foreman.Possibly a close fight, but don't see him surviving the power once he got caught.
