Foreman vs Frazier 1...Different outcome??

    No one else would put up 5 mil a head. Fantasy sum at that time. Double the purse Joe and Ali received for FOTC.

    What always strikes me with both Frazier-Foreman fights is that Joe's punches just doesn't bother Foreman at all and every time George lands just a bit cleanly Joe starts to do the drunken dance. A short swarmer just can't win with that equation in place.

    Frazier certainly had political options, in terms of avoiding the fight.

    Short of that he could have done a lot better, but it is hard to see how he could have won.
