Prime Foreman vs prime Frazier, with a twist. Fight to the finish rules are in effect, so the rounds are effectively infinite. (Although Corbett and Jackson couldn't get past 61 without declaring a draw historically.) The fight can only end by KO or one fighter quitting. Both fighters will have 30 seconds (same as London Prize Ring Rules) to recover from each knockdown. Additionally, each fighter may call a single 2 minute injury time-out at any point in the fight, in accordance with traditional Burmese Lethwei rules. Rules are otherwise typical gloved 1970s rules. The only changes were already mentioned above (i.e., round and KD rules tinkered with to favor attrition.) Who wins?
I think this is just being plain mean to Smoking Joe. An ultimate loss for Frazier is still fated so it’s best to be put out of your misery early as possible. George secures periodic KDs inside the normal duration of 3 minute rds. Joe would be a total wreck, unable to rise before Foreman, who is also availed of the 30 sec respites, depletes his tank.
The fight finally ends hours later, with Joe being down multiple times, and Foreman absolutely KNACKERED.
