Holmes at any point? cmon man, do you think that a 73-74 peak foreman would lose against a green like a plant holmes who did his pro debut in 1973? you must be joking
I pick foreman. At any point. I think Holmes style of defense plays into foreman. He likes to block punches and I think he caught. He got nailed alot of right hands. I think most if not all knockdown were rights
This is a hard call. I think if Holmes sticks to trying to outbox Foreman he wins, but if he starts thinking he can out fight him, he losses. He'd have to keep the fight in the middle of the ring.
Provide One piece of evidence. Just because we share the same views we're automatically the same person? Remember Combatesdeboxeo (or however the **** it's spelt), TheJuggernaut80. Heavy_hands, Heavy_handss (you're not slick), need I go on?
holmes can survive, he has the ali-like chin, he might well go down but hes getting up. holmes has the razor jab for a points victory and ruffing up tactics to survive. it would be larrys toughest test but I'd make him the fav marginally on points. That's said, you gotta give foreman close to evens to maybe tko him in a confused stoppage with holmes finishing on his feet.
His chin wasn't quite as good as Ali's but he had the heart and fire to battle back. Even against Tyson way past his best he looked like he was going to survive the round until Mike got in a free shot when Larry got his arm stuck in the rope after firing an uppercut back. I think Holmes wins on points or by late stoppage.
if he got hurt badly by weaver, spoon,Snipes and a ****py finisher like shavers,he will have tons of problems with an all time great finisher like.foreman ,here we are not talking about lorenzo zanon, evangelista, marvis frazier, james smith, trevor berbick, spoon or shavers it is George foreman ,holmes never faced a guy that powerful and that Strong with a sturdy chin, if Holmes fights aggresive he will pay it
