Two of boxings histories biggest punchers going at it . how would rocky do against arguably the hardest puncher to ever lace em up in heavy weight history Foreman. Rocky has never lost and has stopped most hes come across. Marciano has also always gotten off the canvas. Would Marciano who arguably has the biggest heart in heavyweight boxing get off the canvas and go take the fight to foreman. Try to wear him down over the rounds ( we know of foremans gas tank problem (ali vs foreman) Or would the rock a man whos never lost a professional fight fall victim to the murderous puncher foreman like fraizer and Norton did ? How do you all see this Match going?
Wholesale destruction of Marciano in 2. He is so out of his depth in this match-up one wonders if it would ever had been made.

I wish people would use the search function rather than make such obvious threads just for the hell of it.
Been done to death this one. I think Foreman deserves to be a big favourite here, but I would make a prime Rocky (and he would have to be at his very very best) a live underdog who can win if he survives the early onslaught. Mowing down a shell shocked Frazier was entirely different to meeting Rocky. The Frazier of 1973 was severely reduced in that he could no longer fight at range. Literally a one handed puncher with a predictable rhythm like a clockwork mouse. All George had to do was draw a line on the floor. Push Frazier out of reach and hit him on the way back. That would never work on Marciano, or even a prime Frazier for that matter. This stunning result performed by a still green George Foreman really put George into a position Ali would prove he was not quite ready for. His stamina was bad, he was young and his attitude was wrong. And I don’t think it would necessarily take a boxer like Ali or Jimmy Young (as it turned out) to expose the fact that George was not quite prepared for any resilient elite fighter first time around. George was a truly great fighter himself but we probably did not get to see the best of him. He retired before he had matured. There is a lot one can knock about Marciano. That he only beat old men. Smaller men. That it simply is not possible that he would “always find a way”.. But marciano certainly was a resilient fighter. Actually a legitimate all time great fighter. A seasoned fighter. With two handed power, non stop stamina.
Could go either way!Marciano is stronger than Frazier and Lyle, use both hands and had better chin than them!Foreman would never knocked him out bit there is posibility that fight would be stoped while Marciano always gets up and still wana take Foreman head off!Marciano crouch very low and was much harder to land that upercut than in Frazier and Tyson!Qawi is not Marciano! If Foreman stops Marciano it would be TKO!But if Rocky past 5 ehich is very posible he would knock Foreman in round 8-10! Again chances are 50/50! People gave Marciano less chances than he deserved!Prime Marciano is better than prime Frazier!Foreman fought older Frazier!Marciano>F.O.T.C Frazier>Foreman Frazier!Marciano sure could do what Lyle did!If he lost it would by in 5th round but if he survived that he would beat Foreman worse than Ali or Young!
One sided beating mismatch sorry for Rocky, no 185 ponderous guy even slow for his small size, short pressure brawler is surviving against Foreman toe to toe
Rocky KO 9, withstands early onslaught and goes to the body wearing big George down and batters him in the 8th and 9th and big George falls face first out cold. Rocky is all wrong for George with his resilence, stamina and 2 handed power.
Foreman is better in every single department, he was much bigger, much stronger, much heavier, had much better chin(please debate it), much longer reach, huge stylistical advantage ,hits much harder with both hands. The stamina is irrelevant because rocky gets smashed early. Norton and Frazier had more stamina than Foreman too.
