Picture the scene, Foreman has just scraped by Axel Schulz and the world is pressuring him to give the guy a rematch. However just one month prior to the fight Mike Tyson was released from prison with a whole lot of hype around him. The IBF agree to let Foreman defend his belt against Tyson as long as the winner signs to face Schulz. With that petty matter out of the way, Foreman signs to defend his WBA, IBF and Lineal championship against Tyson in August 1995. Who wins the fight?
Foreman mid/late stoppage. Tyson's ring rust would catch up to him regardless of whatever tactic he tries.
I think Mike Tyson would have just edged Foreman on points had they fought in 1995, not confident though. Foreman was pretty much finished in 1995 - and there was obvious blueprints and game-plans to beat Foreman that was implemented by Morrison, (and Schultz), and Foreman then only really had power and chin then, whereas Tyson was super rusty and past-it as well himself.
Even though Tyson wasn't what he once was, i have to believe he's too much for Old Foreman. I reckon Tyson stops him.
If in Aug like the mcneely fight foreman wins !!!!!! If they let Tyson train 1 yr straight Tyson wins
