I hate when that happens, it's like when Ricky Hatton was winning the 2nd rd against Pac "by a country mile", only for Manny to cheap shot him when he hadn his hands down and his face sticking out.

    Rematch!!

I don't like your post and I'm not Puerto Rican. You don't know what you are talking about. Cotto was winning comfortably, period.

how can you win a fight running away? yury flurried 3 punches and starts running again while cotto was more consistent, and Cotto dropped him with that body shot. Yury moved just enough out of reach to last as much as he can, but with out that injury meant that cotto would've stopped him sooner when yury would exchange with him again.

Yuri was getting stronger and connect more before the injury.
His game plan was to turn the heat on in the second half of the fight.
He would have win with his knees working

If he didn't get injured and started to put heat on what makes you think Cotto wouldn't catch him on a body shot or just counter punch him to death, the fact is you don't really know if that would've worked, because it didn't get to that part and how do you know that manny didn't have a back up plan? What could of should of is pointless. just move on.

So, he gave away five of six rounds to a notorious slow starter like Cotto as a gameplan. Unlikely - it was pretty obvious the plan was to jab Cotto from the outside and keep moving round him.

Sadly, boxing is all about inches: inches in height, reach, how much you make someone miss by and how many inches between for the counter to land. All the things people said Foreman would do, he couldn't because Cotto wouldn't let him.

Cotto would make little steps to either side and jab between Foreman's guard and his punches. He'd slip a shot and throw a quick counter over his left hand, or a jab over it.

Foreman's not a pressure fighter. He couldn't turn up the heat because he was getting picked off. He was being countered by the guy he thought he'd be countering.

I agree. He was practically out on his feet. Heck, the towel almost knocked him out.

    Do you even believe this?
