I think the testing is a good thing, based on the objective of the sport. Boxing is a contact sport that inflicts a great deal of pain if not careful. Discovering that a fighter was on an enhancement subtance after the fight maybe to late for his opponent, who had to endure the punishment. It's should be obvious that the current testing is not as effective as the olympic style one, if Shane was able to stay undetecded when he fought De la Hoyle the second time. I'm sure he was tested before they fought, but nothing was found. So if olympic style testing will get the job done better then the current one, then do the dame thing.

Perhaps, but blood testing up to the day of the fight isn't good either, fighters in the lower weight classes get hurt much more due cutting weight, I think urine should be done up to the day of the fight, while blood should be taken between 1-2 weeks of the fight.

Unfortunately the cost of these tests make it impossible to implement boxing wide. It will be reserved for HUGE fights like Manny vs FLoyd and other high revenue generating events. But I agree.....boxing needs the best drug testing to be implemented down the road when it can be universal throughout the sport........Now it still won't be 100%....but I'm sure when the commission gets involved it will be a lot better.

Yeah, It would be fine, except that Floyd came up with it out of nowhere and it stopped the whole fight in it's tracks.
Why should manny play Floyd's games and go along with the drug testing? Why can't he just fight Floyd? If Floyd backs out of it even with the drug testing then he is truly scared.

 That's the way to do it. I wish others in this forum would do something more constructive like what you did instead of calling Manny "Pacroid" because druggie Floyd Sr. said so.

Are Void's fans ready to testify in court under oath that Pac is a druggie?!

Pac and Roach want a fight with Void, but Void is still running!

I don't think Pac's taking steroids, But they do need tougher drug testing. It's in everybody's best interest.

Pac is kicking ass and taking names, What if someone comes to the conclusion that the only way to beat Pac is to "JUICE". Now lets say he does JUICE and
Defeats Pac, that would be a tragedy cause he would have lost to a ****in cheater. Now that's some grade A bull****, that tougher testing could've caught.

Its in everybody's best interest until a fighter gets tested right before a fight and it ****s him up and he gets KTFO.
