Great news, hopefully we get MAB - Morales. :bbb

For those who haven't seen them, they're up on youtube but uploads are all over the place, split into parts etc, so here's a playlist of all the previous episodes:

    http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL864FB99602BE53C7

The only one missing off there is Leonard - Hearns so here's the playlist for that one, split into 3 vids:

    http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0AEBD786FF00D7A6

Alternatively they're uploaded at Soso, videos there are in one part rather than being split like they are on youtube:

If you've not seen them, enjoy! :good

All of them yeah. Showtime did do a documentary on Marquez/Vazquez after the third fight.

Cotto/Margarito would be a good one though.

I hope they don't focus too much on the fights that have had the HBO 24/7 treatment, there's already a wealth of info on the backgrounds to those.

Though it'd be nice to get the talking heads opinions on drama like Cotto-Marg.

    Jones - Tarver 1 & 2 maybe?

  5. What are these, do they show the fights and talk with the fighters concerned?

They give a bit of background on the fighters and the circumstances and events surrounding their fight. Highlights of the fight are shown along with interviews from the fighters, trainers, referee etc. Essential viewing for any boxing fan.

As Hammer, says. Also they usually pick an angle or a particular issue to concentrate on. Some are a little unfair/ biased, and you should dig deeper before taking some of the opinions as gospel, but it doesn't get in the way of it being a great series.

    About time:happy

One of the most entertaining and informative series of boxing documentaries ive watched, long overdue a new bunch. Anyone know the full lineup of fights they are doing?

If I had to pick half a dozen HBO fights/rivalries for this series, I'd run with....

    Barrera vs Morales
    Pacquiao vs Marquez
    Gatti vs Ward
    Hopkins vs Pavlik
    Cotto vs Margarito
    Mayweather vs Hatton

You've got a mix of historically significant fights, together with great contests and chalk/cheese rivalries etc.

Other than the Hatton fight Mayweather wouldn't really qualify - the DLH fight was brutal viewing, and none of his other fights have been particularly significant in the grand scheme of things individually, for others you could go with Pacquiao vs Barrera.

If Juan Diaz hadn't lost to Nate Campbell you could go with Marquez vs Diaz, but Diaz's defeat took a little bit of lustre from the fight, along with Diaz being basically ****ed afterwards.

Of the first series, I like Chavez vs Taylor and Leonard vs Hearns - probably the most significant fight in boxing since Ali vs Frazier I.

I think Holmes-Cooney is probably my favourite.

Just think in 20 years time we could have Boxnations legendary nights featuring classics like Enzo/McPhilbin, Cleverly/Karpency and Gavin/Witter.
