I think Wards lack of power is always going to be a problem and I have always suspected that Dirrell may have beaten him had they actually faught. Time will tell though.
The thing in this fight that worries me is carl's slow starts he needs to start quickly. He needs to find a way to get ward of his game plan straight away, then he needs to taken him to deep waters and you'll find ward cant swim. WAR froch!
he didn't start slowly in the jean pascal fight , i hope carl jabs wards head off and takes him out in the later rounds war froch
Can't wait for this. Was watching a few of Froch's last fights and damn, that right hand is going to be a big problem for him. It should be great though. Too bad the undercard is ****. Would have been nice if there were a few more fights.
Watch Ward step inside all square and BOOM !!! Carl unleashes his uppercuts..... Its all i have to say on the fight, tbh. I paid the whole setup. Made threads on here on how i would spend time eating dawwwwwgs across town and BOOM agai.......it gets rescheduled......and ma job is usually worth saying ****ya laters......not this one. Anyways........
The English hated Calzaghe anyway but do I care Froch accused a Welshman of smashing up his car on the Super 6 360 Episode 1 even though he had no proof and the car was getting done in Sheffield. Thats up to him but dont expect people from Wales to support him For the record I have nothing against you lot cheering him on he is English after all
Been looking forward to this for ages,it doesn't seem to be getting the hype and attention it deserves which is a bit of a shame. I know froch isn't as well known in the u.k. as khan but still this is the final of the super 6 which has been going on for a couple years now and 2 of the top super middles in their prime, both bringing different skils and experiences to the ring. Froch aint getting stopped in a million years by this guy, whereas he has the power to trouble ward and force a stoppage or a really dominant miracle performance to win on points which I honestly doubt. Wards got a lot going for him: young, fast, skillful, good technique and movement, the fights in his country, but also questions over his toughness and experience at top level for me. Froch is tough, has k.o. power (albeit not a knockout artist at this level but who is), fought at a high level worldwide against very good opponents, a serious guy with a strong mentality, if anyone can to cause an upset it's him. I just hope this is a good entertaining fight,
