I recently saw the "No Mas"'documentary which chronicled the Leonard-Duran trilogy. I was impressed with they way Leonard had preserved himself, he looked like he could still lace um up. Duran on the other hand did not look like he's aged all that well, but the way he interacted with his friends and family in the documentary, he looked like he still has that edge about him. I've always been impressed with sports figures who maintain the same discipline, physically, years after they've retired from sport, which is why I hold guys like Foreman to the highest esteem (saw him during the telecast of the Garcia-Martinez fight this past Saturday) and it looks like he's aging in reverse. So who wins now, Leonard or Duran? I'm riding the fence on this one because I believe Leonard wins in the ring, but Duran wins in a street fight.
@Hatesrats I agree, and like I've stated before it's a real testament to a fighter or athlete who maintains that same discipline long after there competitive days. I'm really just having fun with the question, the topic is really more or less about fighters who discipline themselves long after there hay day. I recently saw a documentary on Tyson in which he visited one of his old training gyms, in which he did a little work on the heavy bag, and he looked really good. (not saying he could be competitive now, but he looked good), now physically that's another question!
