Bring Maidana to UK and have them fight at Wembley or some huge arena.

Khan won the fight, dont get me wrong, but everyone wants to see another fight like this. Maidana can provide what Presscot/McCloskey/Peterson can't, it'll be high drama again in all likelyhood.

I know HBO is building on Khan fighting the winner of Bradley - Alexander, but that can be made for the summer, no?

And don't tell me "Khan needs a breather, let him fight some bum"

What about Carl Froch? Look at his back to back fights, ye ****s.

hell yeah . khan did win the fight rightfullly so. but its a fight that deserves a rematch but rematches never happen nemore.

    khan v prescott
    peterson v ortiz
    berto v collazo
    khan v maidana

just sum fights that i think should of been rematches. but will never happen .

****in great idea , but in this day and age un heard of , so unheard of when i seen your thread i thought thats so ****in obvious and yet so brilliant !!!!! , BTW GB are not gonna put Khan in with the winner of Bradley Alexander , they are giving Khan Marquez the push providing JMM gets past Morales , and looking at Khan - Bradley / Alexander as a December super fight !!!! :think

    You're damn right.

For the life of me I can't understand why people are buying into Khan fighting some of these other guys, why not a Maidana rematch?

After the scintillating fight, everyone wanted a rematch, yet now... everyone is going on about McCloskey, who the hell is he?!

With how Khan and Maidana performed, they can easily fill an arena in the UK. I'm sure Maidana is up for it.

    Terrible idea.

As a Khan fan, I'm happy Khan has got past that hurdle. He went through life and death to get past Maidana. Them fights shorten your career. Why go back just to satisfy a few hardcore fans?

    It won't happen.

Dude, have you been a Boxer before?

Khan was lucky that body shot came in so early. It held Maidana back for a few rounds. If all these dramatic things didn't take place, Khan may not make it out the second.

One training camp won't exactly change the flaws he has anyway.

It shouldn't happen, not anytime soon anyway.

I watched that fight with a friend who only ever watch boxing when I invite him over. He never really talks about boxing but he keeps talking to me about Khan and Maidana, even now.. He's going on about how he wants to see Khan fight that "Tough mother ****er" again.

I've followed the sport since the 90s, who are you to question me when everyone else seemingly wants to see another fight between these two warriors?

I give Khan all the respect in the world, another fight would be amazing for UK boxing, they'd easily fill Wembley.

Obviously I'm exaggarating when saying a 'few', but it won't happen. It would make no sense at all to have it at this time.

He's got past a tough hurdle. Why go back? It wouldn't benefit him in any way.

Yes, he might get a tiny bit of respect for doing so, but it really wouldn't matter.

People see Khan to have gotten past him and now he can move onto bigger and better things.

Why go through a rough fight before a Bradley unification?

I'm all for fun fights and it was a great fight and I understand where you're coming from but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense at this point.

As I just said in my previous post, I'm all for a great fight, and you have all the right in the world to want a great match-up, but it doesn't make sense.

Well, Khan made a semi-interested boxing fan a major fan of his by fighting Maidana the way he did. And I'm all for another fight, it'd be massive.

Unfortunately I'd bet my life that this is the opinion of Khan and all of his handlers.

No way in hell they would take a Maidana fight again.

So the fight shouldnt happenn just because you will be sitting there hoping and praying that Khan doesnt get clipped early !!!!! GTFOH

There are very few credible options for Khan at the moment , the first fight was a great fight , the type of fights true champions revel in being involved , it would be a massive occasion in the UK and would do a massive gate as well , this is a great fight :deal
