    Berto v Mosley

    After the epic fight last weekend boxing fans are far to interested in Pac-Pbf, the discussion seems to be non stop. I think we should tone it down a notch and look at a fight with great potential.

    Berto is undefeated, fast with a wicked uppercut. Throws great combos though has developed a tendency to clinch of late. Must be highly confident to call out Mosley like that and this is the fight where we can see if he is the real deal after being labelled a protected fighter.

    Mosley, what else needs to be said? Sugar shane, at 38, is still at the top of the game after obliterating the 'hardest man in boxing' and continues to amaze with is longevity. However his inactivity combined with his age gives berto a bigge chance than I would have given him before. Shane still has fast hands great power and combine that with Berto's somewhat lacklustre defense well...

    Two quick offensive fighters, one beginning his elite career and one who is nearing the end of his. Who do you guys give the edge to?

    lol right before I read this thread I was thinking "Damn i wish this fight was in NYC" because i would definately be there.

    Berto has the style to give Mosley trouble. If he can be patient and throw in flurries, Mosley will have a hard time dealing with his handspeed. It could end up looking like Hopkins vs Taylor

    BUT. Mosley punches HARD, for the full 12 rounds. If Berto gets tired like he has a habit of diong sometimes, he might not make it out of there. He has heart that keeps him going when his stamina is giving out, but against Mosley heart won't be enough.

    Something about this fight intrigues me. Its the style matchup. Mosley is the better fighter but I think the style edge goes to Berto. Also, I think Berto is improving with every fight. Unlike most other people I thought Berto looked pretty good against Urango. He fought a smart, tactical fight. Thats the type of fight I like to see a young guy fight every once in a while it shows that he uses his brain not just his brawn

    This is a good fight... For an early pick I'd say;

    Berto winning early rounds,,,, Mosley finishing strong with Berto in survival mode.

    Good post, i love this fight, the old great vs the undefeated young lion. I really hope Mosley is able to win this.

    I think Mosley stops Berto late after wearing him down round after round. That said, any day could be the day when father time comes knocking on Sugar's door.
