These are the fights i have to respect manny for taking! He is a real fighter worthy of P4P #1. Could have gone the easy route by facing someone who is hopeless, instead he faces a formidable Soto.

If Guz didn't impress you, then what do you think about Pac fighting a guy that got worked by Guzman? Keep in mind, Soto hasn't had a credible win since that fight.

Ah, I see what you are getting at and it makes sense. Looking at it that way, then yeah Valero is a better fight. Valero is undefeated, Soto is coming off a DQ loss and hasn't beaten a top fighter in a while. Everyone at lightweight is booked and Pac needs a partned by November. Valero and Soto are basically the last two options. I can see an argument for Valero deserving it more than Soto, but then again.... head to head I'd take Soto over Valero. Either way they are good matchups to me.:bbb

...and I'm a Soto fan so it's nice to see him get a nice payday. I think he'll definately be better competition than David Diaz.

ACtually i've always been a Julio Diaz fan although he hasn't stepped it up when he should've but i know he has a big win in him somewhere. I thought he would get by diaz but he choose to slug instead of box. He is a big guy too that can make 135. I could see him being competitve against pac

Not at all my man i live in the imperial valley, but I followed his career since he was 5-0 and i think he wasted alot of time being inactive and too much gym wars that by the time he enters the ring ... well, **** the excuses, he is what he is. Loyalty is what its all about mman and i've been down with the Diaz bros and im sticking to my story.

    1. Guzrun fought his usual coward style and managed to impress the judges enough to win the fight by wider margins then he should have been awarded against Soto.

    2. Bobby Pac landed a huge shot behind the ear that stunned Soto, but it was a punch that he didn't see and those are the KO shots. That was the only thing Bobby Pac did the entire fight, Soto just gave him a beating.

    3. Soto hasn't been to lightweight yet, but he is bigger then Pac and I think if he fights intelligently he can win. He abandoned his jab against Guzman which was working for him in the beginning of the fight, he'll need to use that to slow down and time Pacman.

You got a point after all its not like he totally dominated my boy Rocky Juarez( who is a B fighter with the posibility to be an A- at best). Matter of fact i remember Soto hurt and holding on to the naturally smaller Rocky. To be honest that is his notible fight. But i know he is a better fighter and less of a threat than Valero in a sense.

mostly cause rocky is/was sneaky with his counters....pac's style will leave soto always ready for war, therefore being able to take better shots....

either way, i think pac can pull it off...but it's good to see pac with a hungry for money type of mexican fighter....and not some hungry mexican who hasn't ate in 3 weeks just to make weight....BIG DIFFERENCE......

AND by the way...julio will get murdered by pacman

Only if you feel Pac is better at lightweight than a prime Jose Luis Castillo , and very motivated to unify the belts Juan Diaz. But if he were to murder the bigger DIaz like you say i bet it would be done david diaz style huh especially with Julios come forward style and short arms :think

True....I don't think Soto will win, but both him and PAC come forward and will meet head on. It will be a battle of who is faster, stronger and an overall better fighter. That's why I think it will be exciting but Soto ends up on the loosing end.

is pac better than a prime joe louis castillo - no
motivated like baby bull - maybe
does pac have other tools that jose luis didnt - YES

but julio has showed that when in deep waters, he usually drowns....i like the kidd too, but pac right now is on a whole other level than julio....i can see julio giving up at about 5 or 6 , taking an ass whoopin in the 7th and 8th only to see his brother step in to stop the fight...TEDDY ATLAS STYLE...
