Manny Pacquiao vs. Edwin Valero is up on Boxrec, thought Soto vs. Pacquiao should be also a very interesting fight.

"Stop the Fight!"... true but i doubt Julio the Kidd is in the same level as Solis ( a smaller guy) who fought Pac the way i think the bigger Diaz would. Plus julio knows his next big shot could be his last. He wouldn't be a stationary target like David . Plus Diaz believed in his mind he could outslug Juan Diaz imo why he lost (plus ring rust).

STOPPPPPPPPPPPP THE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT

i dont know man, if jose luis didnt motivate him with the biggo COACHELLA VS CHICALI rivalry then i dont think pac will...i think julio will go into the fight with 1 gameplan only, once he see's it doesn't work, he will most likely give in to the pressure....

if julio finally wants the respect he deserves, he should move up to 140 and fight somebody there, i think he has a better chance

No not at all. He caught Soto with a big shot and stunned Soto but Soto did not walk away but instead came right back and stunned Bobby. Thats what i like about Soto even when he is hurt he keeps coming and has the ability to hurt you.

I think Soto has acually had a few fights at light weight already. He is a pretty big guy.

Forget this fight altogether ... Soto is way too slow and showed that against Guzman ...

    If Pac should fight anyone it should be guys on his level ... I think some proposed fights w/ Pac should go as followed;

    Valero
    Guzman
    Marquez
    J. Diaz
    Hatton

Not many other fighters in or around that division would be appealing they're just too slow, not strong enough, or not skilled enough ...

Pac is probably faster than anyone at or around 130-140 lbs ...

Soto will get killed as bad as Diaz did.

Stupid fight, with nothing on the line. Could give a **** less.

Cmon man are you serious? I think Soto would have beat the **** out of Diaz too. Now your using the Diaz vs Pac fight too much as a measuring stick to see how Pac will do against everyone else.

Soto is way too slow ... he showed that against Guzman who isn't as fast or as strong as Pac.

Pac would take Soto deep and drown his ass --

I know. I thought this might happen. Now people think Pac improved vastly when in reality he made so many mistakes in that fight but Diaz being one of the slowest fighters i have ever seen could not take advantage of them.
Did anyone notice Pacs balance after he threw a combination. His feet were set so bad that a guy like JMM would have put his ass on the canvas if he caught him standing like that. The rematch is looking good if it happens.

    Anyways this is about Soto.
Soto has more speed than Diaz. Actually i think every fat heavy weight does.
    More power.
    Hungrier.
    Better technique
Chin... i dont know Diaz was a punching bag for 10 rounds i believe it was. It does show a good chin.

Soto and Diaz fight nothing alike.

Did you even see that fight or you just talking out of your ass? Guzman ran away from him the whole fight, if Soto was too slow it was because his opponent didn't want to fight him.

Pac is probably just as fast as Guzman, hits harder, but he run. He comes forward and throws bombs. The way you beat him is either to counterpunch and hope to not get caught with something big (Marquez) or you slug with him and hope your chin holds up (Morales). Soto is more out of the Morales mold, except I think he has a little bit more power. The big question mark is his chin, and whether or not he can take Mannys power.

Soto is not slow, he's just not as fast as Manny or Guzman, but Morales and Marquez were not as fast either and they were still able to catch Manny.

HMM did you see the way Guzman fought. Mayweather definately improved Guzmans defense. His defense was amazing that night. Not to mention Pac and Guzman are two completely different styles. I also think Guzman would beat Pac but thats another story.

The story of Soto Pac would be a head to head war.
Both have great chins and power. The gameplan for Soto is simple. Duplicate Morales in their first and second fight. When MOrales threw that jab Pac did not know what to do and if Morales pressed hard after that jab you would usually find Pac backing up not throwing anything.

Soto has the skills to do that.

Guzman was hitting Soto and getting out the way and he hit Soto alot more than he got hit.

I tell you this ... the result was a shutout ...

Hell dude I got that fight on tape --

    Soto looked garbage ...

If Soto fights Pacquiao and tries to exchange he will get beat to the punch all the time - point blank
