I went on my own but watched the fights with Mike Armstrong. Was good to see him. Shame i did'nt see you two.Could've bought you a pint. Seen Mike Gomez,he looked like he was on the lash:yep
But in boxing they turn into positions where you can't see the punches being thrown by one of them. On TV, they'll just switch the camera so you always have the best view.
Trust me ... attend a big fight, one that your excited about and you'll change your mind forever... so long as you have good seats. Anything more then 20metres from the ring and it ain't worth it. :good
Nah, I'm not doubting that attending is better than watching on TV, I find that with any sports I've attended. But for the best view, nothing beats TV.
never noticed that mate no. Your right he did'nt need it,the lad got a great reception as did all the fighters, even Degale, who is startin to show what he can do. Was a great atmosphere. Thought it was wrong that Mitchell,Brook and Enzo were pushed down the bill in favour of 4 rndrs as well mate.
Best fighter of the card? Mine was, and I say to say it because I don't really 'like' him. Small- great change of tactics at exactly the right time. Masterful. He's domestic level only but that was pretty brilliant.
Unless your eyes have zoom and the ability to switch to the best available position at all times, how are you capable of having a better view than TV? :nut
OK your telly even if it is super duper high definition with a 1,000.000 " by a 1,000,000 inch will not acurrately reflect actually attending a match. Trust me. It will not allow you to see the blood and snot flying, it will not allow you to see the punch land and knees dip. Dear Margo82, Having attended and watched on TV I can tell you that for certain you get a better view by actually seeing it with your own eyes. Seeming as you haven't attended you cannot possibly argue with me until you attend. Hope this clears up the matter. Yours Sincerely, Jeff Thomas Fight Attendee
I don't give a **** if I can't see snot. On my TV, I can see what happens in every clinch, I see a clear view of every punch and I have the best angle at all times. It is impossible in person to get a view that matches that of TV whilst attending. I have attended enough other sports to know that boxing will be the same. When judges start judging on how much snot hits the crowd instead of punches landed, I might agree with you.
First off, I'd have him face Olusegun. Nice pretty record, winnable fight, and more people know about him than Witter. Then I'd go for Juan Urango. At some point, he's going to have to fight someone who hits extremely hard - it should be against someone who is extremely limited. Dealing with Urango's strength will prepare him for Hatton. Hatton would be next, if he's still around. Then unification bouts come into play.
Good idea, and then he don't have to defend it right away with Maidanda. I think Bradley would be a good guy for him to fight in terms of how beatable he is and the winner of Witter-Alexander would be good too.
