    Some off the top of my head, J.Brown / I.Williams / E.Dejesus (Came along at the wrong time,but an excellent fighter) I,Laguana , B.Ross , C.Ortiz/ H.Armstrong just some names..... Other than the usual suspects like Duran or Arguello

    Nobody. He was a superlight and a welter. But if his chin oversteps these categories, figure you the lights!

    So what is he doing in a post about GREAT LIGHTWEIGHTS?
    He was 1.Not a great 2.His resume at 135lbs is almost non existant!

    No sorry I didn't I thought the thread is about great forgotten or overlooked lightweights.
    BTW I am a huge fan of Gatti ,I just don't think he was a great fighter.

    Joe Gans and Ike Williams are overlooked by a lot of fight fans these days. People forget how good Ken Buchanan was until Rocky Duran busted his balls.
