Rudkin was stiff not to win one.
His fight with Lionel Rose was close.

Four pages and no one mentioned Terrance Ali. He was a great fighter, yet never won the Lightweight title.

Was about to say that I feel Eddie Booker does not get his dues. You could also say Cocoa Kid although he has been getting some more dues recently. But Booker IMO was just as skilled as anyone else on the Row.

Peralta is a good call, very tricky contender.

Beat Benny Lynch 3 x didnt he?

James Scott - At one time many people wondered if he might be the best LH,back at its all time best. I heard he finally got out of prison a couple years ago.

And your timely mention of Scott brings up the name of the man who so shockingly knocked him down twice and out of the unbeaten ranks him on national television, a contender who very rarely gets mentioned. Jerry "The Bull" Martin was a colorful character who parlayed his win over Scott into title shots against Mustafa Muhammad, Saad Muhammad and Qawi, before fading into the background with losses to Johnny Davis and Ritchie Kates. (At Martin's expense, Kates retired a winner.)
