Yeah, should probably save that for its own thread. Speaking of Zale though, the Graziano fights don't get enough love imo.

 

Tony Zale and Stanley Ketchel stand out to me as the greatest Polak fighters. Froch, though good, was far from great IMO.

 

Kelley-Gainer I was a special fight. You know you’re exciting when you make a classic with Derrick Gainer.

 

I've been wanting to see Kelley-Dorsey as one of our FOTW's for a while now. The scorecards would be interesting to see. One of those you could paint any number of ways. When I saw it live on Tuesday Night Fights on the USA Network back then I had Dorsey winning, but not sure how I'd see it now.

 

I used him as an example, since he was similar weight at a similar time. I agree Ketchel is probably #1. However, I'd call Froch great. He's clearly the third best SMW ever for me. But yeah, this ain't the thread for it.

Kelly Pavlik vs Jermain Taylor 1 seems to be forgotten nowadays. Great fight and comeback.

Have you watched Ortiz Maidana recently or are you going off memory? I bet if you watch both fights and compare you will find the Maidana fight had better action
