Sad to hear it,Lockridge was a pretty good fighter he gave prime JCC hell and was robbed against Gomez in a fight he clearly won.
So sad to see a great fighter end up that way, am a boxer my self and am very anti drugs and alchol cause this is the kind of thing it can do, it ruins people
...too familiar a story. Too many former champs have been to the highest highs, just to fall to the lowest lows.
This guy could arguably be a Hall of Famer. He had two close fights with HOF'er Eusebio Pedroza that could have gone his way without being called roberries, he gave Julio Cesar Chavez a 7-5/8-4 type of fight and as was said was robbed against Wilfredo Gomez. It's sad what has become of him but he can still turn his life around. He hasn't lost his mind, he still seems coherent.
How sad.....bladerunner is right, Rocky was robbed in the Gomez fight....not just the judging either.
