    Marcus davis fought Mark Casserly for the Light Cruiserweight Kickboxing World Championship at the ISKA's “Worlds Collide” event.

    Shame. I really liked Davis as a MMA fighter. he definetly has real balls jumping in kickboxing against a much more experienced opponent like that in his very first kicboxing match.

    That's a damn shame. I've always been a bit of a fan of Marcus Davis, but he's been fighting professionally since the early 90s and it's definitely time to hang them up.

    Did you also notice the weight of that fight? 85kg? He's fighting 30lbs above where he should be.

    I hope Marcus hangs um up. I think he'd have a good career in coaching if he sets his mind to it

    in MMA he fought in the welterweight division right (170lbs)? thats about 16 lbs heavier (84.5 kg = 186 lbs) it is certainly a big jump up in weight, another reason you could say Davis was too bold in taking this fight.

    Was a big fan of the 'Irish Handgranade'. Took his time to adapt to MMA., but once he found his way did himself proud. Really sad to see him cop that beating. Hope he retires.

    For the most part, yeah. He dropped to lightweight for the Stephens fight (his last in the UFC), and to be honest I thought he looked more comfortable there. Looking at his boxrec page he spent most of boxing career in the mid-60kg range as well

    I hate to be too negative but they're lucky not too many competative Thais can fight above 147! :lol:
