im honestly not sure how these people can live with themselves when they log off knowing they act like complete clowns on the internet....id be ashamed if I talked the way they do...its like they know theyre acting like complete clowns to get a rise out of nameless, faceless, internet posters....and theyre ok with it

these are the type of guys that would cower face to face with real boxing fans

there is no irony...I talk about boxing...and any statements I make related to certain boxers I would make to any boxing fan eye to eye or face to face

I don't go around talking about schlongs and penning fiction about a posters life...

half of these clowns that make excuses and statements only do so behind the anonymity of the internet...they don't even believe in them...they say them to get a rise out of posters

Ok let's walk through this.

Canelo insisted he beats Golovkin, so he would have been paid a very large sum of money for a fight he insists he would have won, far more than he will be getting for Liam Smith.

Let's just say he beat Golovkin like he said he would have then Eubank Jr would have been a great fight for Canelo, if he really was smart and brave he would have come to the UK (got tons of exposure on UK TV) and got paid a ridiculous amount of money on a huge PPV event on Sky Sports in front of an absolutely monster crowd in a truly fantastic spectacle.

But the reality is Canelo is fighting the weakest champion at 154 Liam Smith and it will be shown on Boxnation.

I'm just not seeing this "smart business move" :think

 

If Canelo beat Golovkin he could print his own Mexican banknote with himself as El Presidente on it and people would accept them as legal tender there.

If he lost to Golovkin in a thrilling fight and went out on his shield after giving his best, he'd still be a hero.

The fact that he'd rather munch salad and water for the rest of his life and half kill himself to make 154 to fight Liam frickin Smith says it all for me.

I understand being mad at the GGG fight not happening yet, that is a disappointment all around I don't get the weight thing and how losing 1lb is considered jumping division's.

As far as I know since before the Cotto fight Alvarez has been saying he planned on staying at 154 for a while.

 

guy is 25 friggin years old....and he has several big fights under his belt already....and tons of money....

yer talking like canelo is 34 and desperate for his first real decent scalp...LOLOL

 

So annoying to see guys like Martinez, Mayweather, all these clowns embracing ducking in the sport and saying it's ok to Canelo to basically avoid GGG. I hope Martinez and Mayweather will be forgotten in boxing history in many years down the road.

What aggravates me is his motormouth and his "Mexicans dont fvck around" statements coupled with his dropping the belt to GGG faster than a 10 peso puta drops hers.

I used to think quite highly of Canelo ... not so much any more.

If he wanted to stay at 154 then he'd have been better off not talking up a GGG clash and instead just dropping back to 154.

fighter a-25 years old...headlined several ppvs...made tons of money...been in several high profile fights...quality names line the resume

fighter b-34 years old....bombed on a ppv...has no decent names on his resume

The only person Canelo has helped out is Golovkin if the Jr fight is signed. Firstly the purse, huge money on a huge PPV event and massive exposure in the UK.

Anybody who understands British boxing and British boxing fans knows although the majority will be supporting Jr the same fans will give Golovkin huge respect and appreciate him coming here to fight and appreciate being able to see and meet him in the flesh. They will turn out in numbers for training days, meet up events and the weigh ins, it will be huge over here.

Golovkin Vs Jr will get British fight fans to fill any arena or stadium, Golovkin has a great reputation and even if he comes here and batters Jr the British boxing fans will buy in to him.

The same would have happened with Mayweather if he ever decided to fight over here and many other great fighters, British boxing fans turn out in huge numbers for great fighters, big fights and the sport we love.

I hope Canelo enjoys his exposure on Boxnation :good great business move, superb.
