    Wright injured; card cancelled!
    Former World Champion Winky Wright sustained a left hand injury during sparring and must withdraw from his December 4th bout against Michi Munoz. "I'm very disappointed about having to pull out of this fight on December 4th, and I'd like to apologize to all my fans, Snoqualmie Casino and VERSUS," said Wright. "I was feeling real sharp in camp and I was looking forward to a great performance before getting hurt. I promise that I'll be back and better than ever in 2009." The entire Wright-Munoz card, which was scheduled to take place at the Snoqualmie Casino in Snoqualmie, Washington and be televised by VERSUS, has been canceled, and will not be rescheduled. Wright is now expected to return to action in early 2009.

    Wright has taken to much time off..he fought his last fight in July 2007.. I hope he knows what hes doing...

    Actaually I liked Winky but his career looks dead at the moment,he is 37 after all and hasn't fought for a while.I don't like to say it but he is done.

    His career is dead at this point. Way too long periods of inactivity, was an idiot turning down the career high $5 Million Taylor rematch. didnt fight for year, lost to BHop, didnt fight for another year, comes back supposedly against a no name guy. And now he wont be fighting for another 3 months likely.

    I dont care what he does at this point.
