Yeah, like I said, I don't necessarily agree with what I typed, I think he's got some damn good wins and a great resume, but some of his biggest wins may be open to some interpretation.

If he retires right now, i would say good career. Won the title and ultimate fighter challenge and beat one of the best light heavyweight ever in shogun rua.

Not a hall of fame career but a good career.

I know they aren't the exact same guy but I am just wondering, do you think someone like Arturo Gatti deserves to be in the Boxing HOF?

I'm pretty certain he could retire tomorrow and still make it into the hall of fame.

He'll be known as a solid gatekeeper who overachieved at times but always went to war. One of those wars helped put MMA and the UFC back on the map (with Bonnar). He'll be respected for what he was, a guy who gave it his all night in and night out but lacked the talent to be a top-tier guy. Perhaps a bit like an Arturo Gatti.

He will undoubtably get into the HOF just for being champion and the effect the Bonnar fight had on the sport.

As well as the 5 wins Popkins mentioned I reckon Bonnar x2 and Monson are wins of note also.
