talented fighter but lacks maturity. the same way forrest lost to mora the first time and the way he responded because he 'had to' reminded me of judah-baldomir and judah's answer versus cotto. i think both forrest and judah are very good fighters but both lack a certain maturity that has stopped them from becoming great fighters.
I don't think so. Guys can have off-nights, and even some of the best of them have had fights where they didn't train like they should have. Forrest's shoulder injuries, lack of opportunities, and of course his failures against Ricardo Mayorga, have been the main reasons why he didn't achieve what he could have. it's not like Forrest has a history of taking guys lightly.
injuries work in his favour but forrest foguth teh first mayorga fight and mora with the same immaturity judah does often imo.,
Forrest obviously has never quite lived up to his potential, but I don't know if it's for the same reasons Judah has. Forrest supposedly has been plagued by injuries, and who knows, perhaps age is creeping up on him as well?
Forrest is twice the fighter Judah is. Forrest is a man and a champion. Judah is a whiny street thug idiot who spends more time spending 50,000 dollars on booze at a club in one night (Yes its true) and kicking men in the head while gambling (yes its true) im going to youtube mayweather judah now for fun hahaha.
Judah never beat anyone of Mosley Caliber -- especially not like Forrest did in the 1st fight against Mosley. I don't really see the comparison. And I think he beat Mayorga in the second fight -- although he could've did better.
i agree but its really about but both fighters could have achieved if they had the discipline throughout their careers. forrest clearly shouldnt have lost to mora in hindsight in the same way he lost the first mayorga fight because he got pissed at the first (bogus) round knockdown and came out playing to mayorga's tune.
I disagree with the comparison, Forrest is totally different mentally, and much greater overall, than Zab Judah.
I will never forget how Forrest swaggered into the ring rapping with his homies against Mayorga, fresh off a couple of wins over Mosley and fat HBO contract in hand and then got beat up and knocked out by a little known Nicaraguan peasant.
