Forrest reminds me of Judah....

    I think that Forrest is a good fighter. He has a good jab, a decent ovrerhand right and a terrific uppercut. Unlike Judah, Forrest passed his biggest against Mosley. Prime Forrest wins a decision against Mayweather.

    I don't see where Judah and Forrest have much of anything in common. Judah was a hyped fighter early in his career, who was adored by members of the boxing media and said to be destined for greatness. Forrest fought under the radar for a long time, hoping for that big shot while being a "low reward, high risk" opponent. Yes, Vernon lost the first Mayorga fight by apparently taking him lightly and fighting the wrong fight, but a lot of people think Forrest won the rematch. He went through a tough physical rehab and won a title, and has now regained it at age 37.

    I don't see the lack of maturity and mental focus throughout Vernon's career that has been there all along with Zab.
