I honestly feel this will be a great fight all up until Margarito knocks Vernon out with a looping right hand. Margarito has a similar balls out style much like Mayorgas style wise its a great match and Vernon will have big moments with his straighter shots and better footwork, but I also think Vernon cracks in spots under pressure which will only help Margarito in this fight I think Tony takes it TKO in the late rounds.

Margo gets a stoppage here and probably sooner than most think. Forrest is past his best days and Margarito is in his prime.

Why the **** are Mayweather fans not taking Margarito seriously? I mean they call this guy a bum but come on now if he is able to thrash Vernon he isnt no ****ing bum.

When the hell has Margarito ever knocked out a decent fighter with one punch?

Nobody said he would stop Forrest with one shot However Mayorga did stop Forrest with one right hand, and you know its my opinion that margarito hits harder than Mayorga.

This would be a decent fight for as long as Forrest stamina lasts. If he gets tired or his legs fall apart he'd start getting tagged.

    :rofl :patsch

Surely guys, you need to watch Margarito vs. Santos (2nd fight), a decent boxer 2 levels below Forrest's skill level...

    Forrest by superwide UD.

I don't know, this would be a very good fight. The last time Margarito went up to 154 he was beaten by Daniel Santos, but since his loss to Paul Williams last year he promised he would start every fight fast and so far has kept true to his word. Would be a good fight and could happen in the future.

Look everybod throws that Daniel Santos bout out there as if Tony was dominated that wasnt the case the fight was turning in Tonys favor at the time of stoppage, due to a head clash caused by Santos, and again the fight took place in Puerto Rico of which Santos is Puerto Rican.
most ringside had Margarito ahead in the fight, but like I said if that is a fight you refer to in predicting the out come of fights I would advise you not to put any money on it, even if you took the Williams bout that fight was too damn close as well.
Margarito has never been dominated Vernon IMO was by Quartey

Mayorga's hands and feet are MUCH faster than Margos. A few years ago I'd say Forrest by a wide UD, but now it would be a something like 116-112. I don't seem Margo bothering him that much and if Forrest's shoulder is okay and he can jab, he'll win with that alone.

Yes, the fight with Williams was close, but clearly deserved decision for Paul Williams. I also thought Quartey won the fight, but some people did have Forrest winning the fight also, I don't recall anybody saying that Margarito deserved the win against Williams.

Nobody said Margarito deserved the win against Williams Tony needed the last round to get a draw, However I still dont understand why people refer to the Santos fight as if it really is a testamony or something, Santos got lucky IMO.
