That's what everyone thought was going to happen when he fought Mayorga. Look, maybe the Mosley fights took too much out of him or possibly he just lost his motivation after peaking against Sugar Shane but if Mayorga could get to Forrest then so would Tito.

See styles make fights and this is as bad of a fight for Forrest as it is for Tito. I was always high on Forrest, but I think this would be his toughest challenge at 47, because Tito had a good jab himself.

Tito was a top notch ww who couldn't beat oscar. Forrest was a good ww who could beat mosley.

    Tito should be favoured.

Tito had trouble with mobile guys who made him constantly reset. He was less plodding at 147 than at 154 and up. He won't have to look for Forrest or chase him too much. I'll take Tito by close decision by virtue of getting Forrest in trouble a few times.

Mosley was on steroids and Oscar did in fact beat him, just as he beat Tito. Regardless of what the official scoring was, we as fans should acknowledge when a guy loses.

I will say that Adrien Broner lost to Ponce De Leon for all my life, just as I will say that Tito lost to Oscar. Some fights are so close that it's hard to tell, but in the case of Broner vs PDL and Oscar vs Tito, those were robberies.

Actually debated with a guy the other day who said Oscar "found a way to lose" then went on to say "Yeah, Oscar won more rounds, but he ran for the last 3."

So his argument was Oscar won more rounds but still lost the fight.

Anyway, I would pick Vernon Forrest if at his absolute best.

SMH. Oscar certainly did not beat Mosley the first time. if you really think that i would love to see a scorecard.

second time i guess you could make a case but that was much closer then the first fight.

I agree, Oscar lost the fight fight.

Second time an easy case could be made. To me, it was a robbery just as it was clear while watching the fight that he beat Tito, and no matter how many times you rewatch it, I don't see how the fight could be scored for Tito.

I meant the second fight in which he tested positive for PED's afterwards, which is why I made the steroid remark to hint that I was talking about the second fight. To my knowledge he tested clean for the first fight.

Well he did in the rematch, plus oscar himself was a top notch ww (depending on how you scored his fights ofcourse). Forrest was more of a flash in the pan than anything else.

I always thought Forrest was a great fighter. The most skilled of the guys at the time (Oscar, Mosley, Tito, Vargas, Wright, Mayorga). I still can't figure out how he could not beat Mayorga as he was also a B fighter in my book, just slightly worse than Fernando Vargas.

Oscar, Mosley and Forrest were the elites of that time without question.
