hahaha nah **** it, i want to get ****ed up haha. Seriously, i don't like "play" sparring, i reckon if your going to do it, do it properly. Plus once i cop a good punch it all goes out the window anyway. I just threw that post out there, because i probably come across on the boards as a bit of a f*ckwit sometimes. Just wanted to make sure you realised that i don't seriously think that i am going to hop in the ring with a pro boxer and look like Roy Jones. As long as you are the same weight as me, i don't mind copping a few shots.
If your coming up in June, at least it gives me a bit of time to try and get some work done on the bag again. I will probably end up looking forward to it, i haven't sparred in ages, and none of my mates will spar me anymore. I miss the feeling of getting punched in the face repeatedly haha.
mate at this stage im coming up for sure. by the time im finished with u u wont miss it u will be sick of it
Well i better have my say about this , Leckie and Rise above are both very nice guys, easy to chat with and made me feel welcome. Leckie for a bigger guy has some pretty fast hands, he held back so i survived the rounds but i still ate a few good shots which i didnt even see coming, i spat a little blood up and it was a good fun,!!!! it made me want to get back to tassie and train boxing or muay thai again full time. It was good to spar someone a lot bigger, so i could hit him hard, the spar was good because it was about learning to box also. I got a little dirty and couldnt help myself from punching Leckie in the back a few times, sorry for that bro. Rise above was good to spar, held his hands high and punched nice and straight, i keep on trying my lead left hook (fav punch) and he would throw his right hand, we both connected with this many times. MSTR, you would enjoy sparrng Leckie, and im sure he would tell you, id **** you up pretty bad , and **** , dont worry about the weight diff, both guys outweighted me, rise above about 15kg , and leckie about 25kgs. I have pretty sore forearms and i ****in sore left thumb, but id do it again in a flash.
Yeah but im a big 67kgs, so i keep telling myself. If i start to train hard again, i could drop to maybe 61kg, id be a good comeback fight for Katsidis. :hey
It sounds like you enjoy what your doing and take pride in your name. You are an asset to australian boxing, well done Chris and keep up the terrific work.
i was wondering why my back was sore that night next time your in town we should get all the nsw boys together for a sparring session.... if there keen
