    My top 3 are
    Ezzard Charles
    Gene Tunney
    Archie Moore

So it's between Spinks and Foster for the 4th best LHW.
Ezzard is my favourite LHW (and fighter)

Spinks beat the far better competition and had great tools just as Foster did.

    Spinks UD.

I'd want foster to win but if I'm being honest with myself spinks beats him.

Matthew Saad Muhammad is easily one of the one of the greatest Light Heavyweight Champions to have ever lived, and also a very great human being, he was left behind by his mother, but yet conquered life to become a great man. I hope he is resting in peace with his God.

Marvin was a two-time champion and definitely had a great heart. I thought he was a really exciting fighter. Spinks wasn't doing that great against him until the end.

I thought it was a 3 time, coz he was the first one at LHW.

But I agreed with the rest and had him down against Spinks before the 4th

I'll take Spinks to convincingly beat Foster. If he was able to find a way to beat Qawi and Larry Holmes then he'd be able to beat Foster IMO.

I think Spinks wins, and convincingly (by stoppage) but I don't get the résumé comparisons.

Oscar Del a Hoya's résumé is better than Donald Curry's, but I'd pick Curry to win.
Joe Frazier's résumé is better than Sonny Liston's, but I'd pick Liston to stop Jow.
Or to use a hotly debated topic at the moment, Walker has a better résumé than Steele, yet I'd pick Steele.

That thread fell to ****! But I would pick walker...I am not convinced walker had the better “MW” resume and think it is debatable. P4P walker has the better resume and rating
