    A 10 round massacre. Bloody and brutal. Once Joe got going, Willard is mauled to defeat, and the referee would have to be mercifull, because if not Willard's life would be at stake from about the 8th round on. I see it as one of the absolute worst beatings in the history of boxing, Willard's chin just making it worse.

    This. The ref steps in to 'rescue' a battered Willard sometime around the 9th, the likes of Lewis, Liston, Tyson and Foreman would put him away earlier, but this would be a prolonged and sustained beatdown and all the worse from Willard's viewpoint.
