Yep, then got mullered and stopped in 2 rematches when the same guy had had more than 18 rounds under his belt after a 3 year lay off..................Next stupid point?
Wrong. Some do because 1. They are not idiotic enough to believe the pathetic cliche " Frazier was an ATG so he must win." and 2. Because they know Douglas was more than capable of being better at EVERYTHING than Frazier, except eating punches the way most people eat food. We even have people claiming it some kind of feat for Frazier to have beaten Joe Bugner, and trying to compare HIM to Douglas. Ffs Bugner contrived to lose to Jack Bodell, and Larry Middleton before Frazier got near him. So he got a win over a ring rusty Ali, and all of a sudden he is the best thing since sliced bread. You couldn't make such idiocy up.
More to the point does anyone seriously think that the stumpy little, easier to hit than a barn door with a banjo Frazier could even hear the final bell, much less win?
No instead, Douglas lost to legendary fighters such as David Bey and Mike White before he beat Tyson.... :rofl:rofl
Why would he lower himself to watch somebody like Frazier when the legendary Tokyo Douglas's fights are on tape to watch..... :rofl:rofl
He nearly was when the 208lb featherfisted Holyfield landed that right hand on him, imagine what Frazier would have done...
No, he wasn't that good. He was about 7 foot tall and a bum. California state title level at best, when there were very few decent west coast HWs. [yt]6qEb7rDlQDY[/yt]
He's right. Tokyo Douglas should be favored in every fantasy fight weather it be against Muhammad Ali, Wladimir Klitscko, the incredible hulk or any one of the X-men. Mind you this is Tokyo Douglas ONLY.. Not the one who fought 8 months earlier or 8 months later.
